According to the list released by Forbes, these women industrialists are the wealthiest in the country.

Indian industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani are counted among the country’s richest billionaires. However, recently a female industrialist surpassed their wealth. In 2023, Savitri Jindal emerged as the wealthiest woman in the country with significant surge in her assets.

Elevating a company to remarkable heights is a cumulative result of the collective effort and hard work invested by people over the years. Here are the business leaders who play important roles for business giants like Ambani and Tata.

Forbes recently released the list of the world’s most powerful women for 2023. The list features four accomplished Indian women. Nirmala Sitharaman is India’s Finance Minister. She secured the 32^nd rank in the Forbes list. Previously, she was ranked 36^th in the same list.

Ramesh Kunhikannan’s company Kaynes Technology India was founded in the year 1988. At the time, the brand was popular as electronics contract manufacturer. The company witnessed significant growth under the leadership of Ramesh Kunhikannan’s wife Savita Ramesh, the present chairman of the company.

Tata Group is renowned globally as one of the best business empires. According to some reports, Ratan Tata’s next generation is ready to step in as the new leaders of the company. His nieces, Leah and Maya, and nephew Neville, will be inheriting the business empire.

Smriti Irani is an Indian politician, and former model and actress. In the year 1998, she emerged as one of the finalists of Miss India beauty pageant. In 2000, Smriti Irani received immense popularity for her lead role of ‘Tulsi Virani’ in Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.’

In 2023, the Indian women’s cricket team earned the gold medal at the Asian Games held in China, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur.

Manpreet Singh is an Indian hockey player. He rose to prominence in 2021, when India won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics (Tokyo) under his leadership. This was India’s first Olympic medal in hockey since 1980.
