A fraudster has been posing as DGP and demanding money on the phone in Jammu and Kashmir. The officials are currently investigating crime and the police have issued an alert to warn the citizens 

Delhi police recently busted three suspects supplying meth tea bags in Delhi. The incident highlights the global threat posed by expanding Chinese and South Asian cartels exporting drugs to countries such as Australia, South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines. 

An Instagram influencer recently posted a video showcasing a scammer pretending to be an Indian police officer and asking for Rs. 30,000 as a 'compromise'.  The scammers even had a fake cop profile picture to decieve the victims. 

More than 5,000 Indian nationals are trapped in Cambodia lured by fake job offers. The Indian embassy in Cambodia and local authorities are working to rescue and repatriate the individuals who were forced to perform cyber fraud. According to MEA, around 250 Indians have been rescued. 

A businessman from Gujarat got scammed for Rs. 95 lakh by a new Facebook friend. She offered him a money-making deal of buying herbal products from India and selling them to her company for double the price. 

Chakshu and DIP launched under the Sanchar Sathi initiative to prevent online scams and frauds. People can report fraud calls, fake job offers, and phone number leaks on the portal. The reported numbers and fraudulent activities will be investigated. 

A couple brutally assaulted a stray dog with an iron rod, resulting in multiple fractures to the animal's leg, stirring outrage in Lucknow. Vijay Kumar Upadhyay, a resident known for his compassionate care of stray animals in the colony, filed a complaint that prompted local authorities to swiftly take action after a disturbing event unfolded in the Indira Nagar area on Sunday.  

In a shocking incident in Delhi's Sonia Vihar area, a group of robbers on bikes targeted a jewellery shop owner and his son at gunpoint. This alarming event, caught on camera, has raised concerns about law and order in the national capital, with critics pointing to the police's inefficiency in tackling crime. The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, amidst the crowded streets of Sonia Vihar.
