Around 9 p.m., four unidentified robbers on two bikes targeted the father-son duo, who were walking along the road with a bag in hand. The perpetrators, whose faces were concealed by helmets, displayed guns and forcibly snatched the bag from their victims. The crime's audacity was evident, raising questions about the effectiveness of law enforcement in the national capital.
 
The video footage depicts the victims attempting to resist the robbery, with one managing to grab hold of a robber as they tried to flee on their bikes. A struggle ensued, leading to the robbers physically assaulting the father-son pair. A fight broke out when one victim tried to stop a robber from escaping. Other robbers joined in, attacking the victims in front of bystanders without any police intervention. The incident escalated further when the criminal’s fired rounds of bullets, causing injuries to the victims.
 
During the chaos, the robbers fired multiple gunshots, injuring the victims. The victims, who identified themselves as the owners of Mohit Jewellers owners, sustained head injuries from the robbers' guns. CCTV footage from nearby shops captured the incident, highlighting the need for stronger law enforcement. Despite the available evidence, there have been no reports of police action.
