    Delhi protests: Supreme Court to hear plea after violence stops

    Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said that the court would determine the rights but not in the atmosphere of a riot. He further said that if protests lead to violence and destruction of public properties, the court would not hear it.

    After the retirement of CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde has been sworn in as the next Chief Justice of India. He was sworn in as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh high court on October 16, 2012.
