Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has announced crowdsourcing of ideas to fight the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) with the participation of the public in the state.

 

The state government will be starting an initiative from July 1 where it will receive ideas from the people in the battle against the deadly virus in UP. People can share their ideas in written or video formats. And after selection, the winners will receive Rs 10,000 prize from the government.

 

As many as 100 winners will get Rs 10,000 each. The participants can send write-ups, videos on WhatsApp and can also email.

 

The principal secretary of the health department, Amit Mohan Prasad said the government  is asking the public to come forward and share ideas regarding how to curb the coronavirus infection, spreading awareness, breaking the corona infection chain, and coronavirus infection-related issues.

 

Further, he stated anyone can send ideas and one-minute videos or 150-word write-up and could get rewarded if selected.

 

The government will advertise very soon about this initiative and will select the best 100 videos, and write-ups, he added.

 

“Our motive is clear. We want to defeat the corona infection with the help of the public. So, the government is starting a competition and asking ideas from the public,” he said.
