Bengaluru: Day by day, shocking details continue to emerge ever since Shaheen Bagh mastermind Sharjeel Imam was arrested.

Earlier, it was reported that he wants to Islamise India and even went on to say that the videos emerging in the protests are his.

Now, in another shocker, it has been revealed that he lied and spread misinformation about Citizenship Amendment Act and wanted to instigate Muslim youths by fearmongering.

The police have also revealed that he planted false stories about Babri masjid with a view to foment trouble, as also fibbing that the Muslim youths were on the government radar.

Sharjeel Imam was arrested last 28 over his remarks on cutting the Northeast from the rest of India.

Shaheen Bagh, what is supposed to be anti-CAA protests, has turned to be a haven of anti-Hindu and anti-India inclinations.

In the name of CAA protests, slogans humiliating Hindus, slogans seeking severing of Assam, slogans seeking freeing of Kashmir and slogans seeking Jinnah-type freedom have abounded.

The protests have also thrown life out of gear and it has chocked traffic, thereby making the lives of the citizens living in the vicinity hellish.

Sadly and shockingly, little kids are also being used to unleash hate and call for the killings of PM Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah.

On Monday, a 2-month-old child also lost its life, owing to harsh winter.

What makes matter worse is how a section of the media is also hand-in-glove with these protesters to suit their agenda.

More on Sharjeel Imam:

In the video related to him, he is heard saying, "If we have 5 lakh organised people then we can permanently cut north-east from India at least for one month. Put so much (unclear) on the road that they cannot even remove it for a month. It is our responsibility to isolate Assam from India, then only they will listen to us."

He added, "Do you know what is happening to Assamese Muslims? NRC is already applied there, they have been put in detention centers. We may come to know that in 6-8 months all Bengalis have been killed  - Hindu or Muslim. If we want to help Assam, then we will have to stop the way to Assam for the Indian Army and other supplies."
