Upasana Singh started her career as a child artist in the year 1986 with the Hindi film ‘Babul.’ She also starred in the Rajasthani film ‘Bai Chali Sasariye.’

During the early years of her acting career, she did not receive much support from her father. However, seeing the enthusiasm of Upasana, her parents collected some money and helped her to make a career in Mumbai.
