Sidhu Moose Wala was an Indian singer, composer, model and politician. He was born on 11 June 1993 in Mansa, Punjab. He died on 29 May 2022. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab. 

His father Balkaur Singh is a retired army officer. His mother, Charan Kaur Sidhu is the Head of Panchayat of Musa village.

Before making his debut as a singer, he worked as a lyricist. He started his career with popular singers like Deep Jandu, Elly Mangat, and Karan Aujla in the year 2016.

On 3 December 2021, Sidhu Moose Wala joined the Indian National Congress under the chairmanship of Navjot Singh Sidhu. 

Sidhu Moose Wala lost in the 2022 Assembly elections. Right after his defeat, he released a song titled ‘Scapegoat.’

Sidhu Moose Wala’s film debut

He made his acting debut with the Punjabi film ‘Yes I am Student.’ The film was produced under his production house. He was also seen in following films, Teri Meri Jodi (2019), Gunaah (2020), and Jattaan Da Munda Gaon Lagaya. 

Sidhu Moose Wala released the Punjabi song ‘Oh Chaubar De Chehre’ on 15 May 2022 with rapper Wazir. 

On 29 May 2022, some armed attackers fired 12 bullets at Sidhu Moose Wala’s car near Jawaharke village. In the incident, Sidhu was shot, and he died of excessive bleeding.
