Shivangi Joshi is an Indian television actress. She was born on 18 May 1995 in Dehradun. Her sun sign is Taurus. Her present residence is in Pune. She completed her schooling from Pine Hall School, Dehradun. 

Her father’s name is Suman Prakash Joshi and her mother’s name is Yashoda Joshi. She has a brother, Samarth Joshi and a sister, Sheetal Joshi.

Shivangi is best known for her role as ‘Naira’ in the TV serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.

She made her debut with the show ‘Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi’ in 2013. 

Then, she was seen in the show ‘Begusarai’ opposite Vishal Aditya Singh. She received the Indian Telly Award for ‘Fresh New Face- Female’ in 2016. 

Shivangi Joshi considers television actress Shweta Tiwari as her inspiration.

She is an excellent dancer and has participated in many dance competitions across India.

She won gold medals in taekwondo competitions as a kid. 

Shivangi’s lead role

From 2016-2021, she played the lead role in the television serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Her chemistry with Mohsin Khan was greatly loved by the audience.
