Saqib Saleem is an Indian actor and model. He was born on 8 April 1988 in Delhi. His zodiac sign is Aries. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Hindu College, University of Delhi. His father, Saleem Qureshi is the owner of a restaurant chain. His mother, Ameena Qureshi is a homemaker. He is the brother of film actress, Huma Qureshi. Saqib’s father owns a chain of ten restaurants called ‘Saleem’s’ in Delhi. 

He loves to play cricket and during his childhood he aspired to become a cricketer. 

Huma Qureshi, a popular Bollywood actress, is his only sister. The bond between this brother-sister duo is strong. 

During his college days, Saqib helped his father in the family business, however, he had no interest in the work.

Beginning of an acting career

Saqib never dreamed of becoming an actor. In an interview, he shared that he relocated to Mumbai to save his relationship with his girlfriend who had moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. 

Saqib gave auditions for films and made his debut with ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ in the year 2011. 

He received recognition after the success of 2013 film ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti.’

He plays for Mumbai Heroes team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
