Ram Charan is an Indian actor. His real name is Konidela Ram Charan Tej. His friends call him Cherry. Ram was born on 27 March 1985 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His sun sign is Aries. He completed his schooling from Padmasheshadri Bal Bhawan School, Chennai. 

Ram is the son of famous Telugu film star Chiranjeevi. His mother’s name is Surekha. He has two sisters, Sushmita and Srija.

Ram played the lead role in SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ along with NT Rama Rao Jr. It was released in 2022 and was a major blockbuster hit at the box office. The movie gained recognition worldwide as it was India’s entry to the Academy Awards. 

‘Naatu Naatu’ song won the Best Original Song at the Academy Awards. After this win, the film became the first Indian production to win an Oscar at the Academy Awards.
