Nusrat Jahan is an Indian actress, model and a politician. She was born on 8 January 1990 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn. She completed her schooling from Lady Queen Mission School, Kolkata. She earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bhawanipur College, Kolkata. 

Her father’s name is Mohammad Shah Jahan. Her mother’s name is Sushma Khatoon. She has two sisters, Nuzhat Jahan and Pooja Prasad.

In the year 2010, Nusrat Jahan won the title of Kolkata’s 'Fair One Miss'. 

Apart from being a politician, Nusrat has worked in several Bengali films. 

She started her acting career in the year 2011 with the film ‘Shotru’.

Some of her films are, Khiladi (2013), Khoka 420 (2013), Love Express (2016), and Ami Je Ke Tomar (2017).

She was seen in the BCL (Bengal Celebrity League) theme song for 'Midnapore Mighties' along with Dev and Sayantika Banerjee.

In 2015, she was awarded the ‘Star Jalsha Parivar Award’ for her work in Bengali film ‘Jamai 420’.

Nusrat was in a relationship with Qadir Khan. In 2017, Nusrat distanced herself from him after allegations were made against him in a rape case.

On 8 May 2019, she was giving a speech while addressing the people of Jhargram city during the Lok Sabha elections. The platform collapsed and people made videos of the incident.

Bangladeshi actress Tarin Jahan is Nusrat Jahan’s aunt.

In June 2021, Nusrat revealed about her separation from her husband Nikhil Jain in an interview.

In the year 2020, she was honoured with the ‘Youth Icon Award’ for her achievements and contribution to Indian cinema at the 28th Artist Awards ceremony. 

She was awarded the 'Best Actress Award' for her role in the 2017 Bengali film ‘Zulfikar’. 

On June 30, 2018, he was honoured with ‘Qaumi Ekta Award’ from All India Qaumi Ekta Manch.

Presently, Nusrat is associated with the political party Akhil Bhartiya Trinamool Congress (TMC). She is a member of the Lok Sabha.
