Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is an actor and a model. Interestingly, she is also a lawyer. She was born on 11 December 1994 in Delhi. She belongs to a Sikh family from Punjab. Her sun sign is Sagittarius. 

Nimrit's education

Nimrit did her schooling from St. Mark Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh. She received her BA and LLB degrees from Army Institute of Law, Mohali. 

Nimrit’s father is an army officer, and her mother is a school principal. 

Her hobbies include travelling and swimming. She loves non-vegetarian and Chinese cuisines.

She was first seen in the show ‘Chhoti Sardarni’ for which she garnered much attention to her character on the show. She played the role of Seher.

Nimrit was interested in dancing and acting from a very young age. She actively participated in her school dance competitions.

She is fond of collecting junk earrings; she has over 700 pairs in her collection.

In 2011, she was selected for a student exchange programme in Italy which was organized by Asia-Europe Foundation. 

Before making a mark in the television industry, she interned with various law firms of India. 

She also worked as an intern at the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Nimrit is a trained jazz dancer. 

In 2018, she won the title of ‘The Tiara Queen’; it was organized by TGPC. She was also given the award for ‘The Best Evening Gown’.

Nimrit was a finalist in FBB’s campus princess event in her college.

She involved herself in theatre acts at the age of 15. She participated in many acts in LTG auditorium. 

Winning the title ‘Miss Manipur’

In 2018, she was awarded with the title of ‘Miss Manipur’ under FBB Femina Miss India. 

She lost a lot of weight before participating in the contest. 

She was seen in a music video of Bannet Dosanjh’s ‘Serious’ in 2019. 

Nimrit gained popularity after her performance in ‘Chhoti Sardarni’.

She takes part in social service campaigns and teaches poor children. 

In 2022, she was seen on a popular TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.
