In 1988, Madhuri worked in the film ‘Tezaab’. It was a major success and established her as a famous star.

In 1994, she played the role of ‘Nisha’ in the film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’. Salman Khan was the lead of the movie. According to the reports, Madhuri charged more fees than Salman Khan. This film was another commercial success in Madhuri’s acting career.

She first met her future husband Dr Shriram Madhav Nene when her brother introduced him to her.

After the birth of her first child, Madhuri took a break from the film industry and relocated to America. 

After a gap of a few years, she returned to India with her family and continued her legacy.
