Kapil Sharma is a comedian, singer and an actor. He was born on 2 April 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Aries. He did his schooling from Sri Ram Ashram Senior Secondary School, Amritsar. For his further studies, he attended Hindu College, Amritsar and APJ College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.

Interesting facts about Kapil

During his childhood, Kapil’s family struggled with financial issues.

He had a deep interest in singing and used to participate in singing programmes of his school.

Kapil took up several menial jobs to support himself financially. He worked in a PCO, a textile mill and other similar places.

Yash Raj Films had plans of launching Kapil Sharma as a Bollywood actor, but the project was discontinued due to some reason.

In the past, Kapil made the headlines for making Twitter (X) posts about his yearly income. In his post, he complained about paying heavy taxes. Another time, he fought with his friend when he was drunk on a flight to Melbourne. Kapil was criticized for his insensitive actions.

Kapil’s film debut

In the year 2015, he debuted as an actor in the Bollywood film ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon’.

On 12 December 2018, Kapil tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginny Chatrath.
