Boman Irani is a Bollywood actor. He was born on 2 December 1959 in Nagpada, Mumbai. His sun sign is Sagittarius. He completed his schooling from St Mary School, Mumbai. He earned a Polytechnic diploma from Mithibai College, Mumbai. 

He is married to Zenobia Irani. They have two sons, Kayoze Irani and Danesh Irani.

Interesting facts about Boman Irani

In his younger years, Boman Irani worked as a waiter and room service staff in the famous ‘Taj Hotel’ in Mumbai for two years.  

To earn a living, he even did freelance photography for the Times of India (TOI) newspaper. 

He moved to Chennai to hone his photography skills. There, he got the opportunity of working for the Miss India beauty pageant. 

In the year 2002, he appeared in a short film called ‘Let’s Talk.’

A close friend of Boman Irani and famous choreographer, Shiamak Davar suggested him to try his hands at theatre. 

Boman’s first major role

Impressed by his acting skills, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra offered him a significant role of ‘Dr Asthana’ in the 2003 film ‘Munna Bhai MBBS.’

In an interview, Boman Irani once shared that he suffered from the condition of dyslexia for many years.
