Bhagwant Mann is an Indian politician, former comedian, singer, and actor. He was born on 17 October 1973 in Sangrur, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Libra. He earned a BCom degree from Shaheed Udham Singh Government College. 

His father, Mohinder Singh was a government school teacher. His mother, Harpal Kaur is a homemaker. 

He is married to Dr Gurpreet Kaur. He is a father to two kids named Dishan Singh Mann and Seerat Kaur Mann.

Under the chairmanship of Arvind Kejriwal, he joined Aam Aadmi Party in the year 2014. 

In 2014, he contested in the Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur constituency and emerged victorious. 

He served as a member of Joint Committee from 11 December 2014 to 25 May 2019.

On 13 September 2019, he was elected as a member of the Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution.

Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab on 16 March 2022.
