Haryana policeman threatens dhaba owner for not giving him free meal

Faridabad: An audio of an alleged policeman threatening a dhaba owner, Ravi Yadav, with police action if he did not serve a police officer a free meal has gone viral. The policeman in question is identified as Sriram, assistant sub inspector from Ballabgarh Chawla Colony Police Station.

In the audio, Sriram is heard ordering item number 100 on the menu, Shahi Paneer, and Kadai Paneer for free. He is also heard saying that if the food was not given for free, then Yadav would have to look into it during midnight patrolling.

Owner Ravi Yadav said that his Dhaba is the connecting point for three check posts and he is being consistently harassed by cops for free food.
