Actor and Choreographer, Raghav Juyal recently posted a video urging locals to not litter especially near natural spots. In the video, he picks up a plastic water bottle near the waterfall and expresses his frustration.
Rose to fame by reality dance show Dance India Dance, Choreographer Raghav Juyal recently posted a video on his Instagram expressing his frustration and anger over finding plastic bottles, broken beer bottles, and more litter near a waterfall in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
He posted the video and wrote, "broken beer bottles , plastic bottles , we need pollution police in Dehradun now it’s enough."
The post currently has a total of 38 million views and 2.8 million likes. In the video, the Street Dancer 3D actor can be seen standing in knee-deep waters in front of a waterfall and holding a plastic bottle. He urged the locals to not litter the place. He points towards the waterfall and says, “We found this here. Do this (littering) at your home and not here. We heard locals are littering the place. I request you with folded hands to stop this. Thank you,”
Thousands of people commented on the video praising Raghav for shining light on the problem. One user wrote, "We need more people like Raghav," lauding Raghav for spreading awareness over this issue.
Another user wrote, "This is so sad to see. People even don’t bother about their own family. This nature is for them as well. International cities Mai jake yeh log Sudhar jate hai . Waha gandagi nhi karenge . Apne India ko hi ganda karenge . People need to learn about it asap. I had many arguments with people but they never understand," highlighting the unmindful behaviour of Indian citizens.
