New Delhi: Elon Musk took to Twitter on Monday and said that he deleted his Tesla titles, just to see what happens.

"Deleted my Tesla titles last week to see what would happen. I'm now the Nothing of Tesla. Seems fine so far," Musk tweeted.

Musk is the CEO and chief designer of automobile company Tesla.

After a while, Musk posted, what seems, a cryptic tweet.

“Legally required officers of a corporation are president, treasurer & secretary. Guess I have to keep 1st one or it will confuse the authorities,” he said, perhaps hinting at presidency.

Musk has recently found himself amid legal hassles and has agreed to pay a $20 million fine and step aside as Tesla chairman for three years to settle charges with the US Securities and Exchange Commission related to his August 7 tweet about taking Tesla private.

The SEC had alleged in a lawsuit that the tweets about financing for a go-private plan he abandoned just weeks later had no basis in fact, and said the market chaos that ensued hurt investors.
