Piyush Goyal in a speech at a Board of Trade meeting in New Delhi said that maths did not help Einstein discover gravity. He was absolutely right, except that he was absolutely wrong because Einstein never discovered Gravity.

"Maths never helped Einstein discover gravity. If he (Einstein) had only gone by structured formulae and past knowledge I don't think there would've been any innovation in this world," Goyal had said.

Union minister Goyal became the talk of Twitter town who discovered more memes by the minute.

Goyal’s failure to acknowledge that he probably made a mistake caused Twitterati to step into his world where Einstein discovered gravity, Newton made Apple iPhones and Arthur Conan Goyal wrote Sherlock Holmes.

When it all adds up anyway, what is the use of maths, right?
