EaseMyTrip is India’s second largest online travel company. Notably, it is the third company among the 120 unicorns in the country to achieve this milestone without any external investment. The first two companies to accomplish this feat were Zerodha and Zoho.

Aman Gupta launched five different ventures before boAt, but he could not achieve success with any of them. In 2016, Aman along with Sameer Mehta co-founded the company boAt. Despite facing numerous challenges over the years, the duo’s persistence and dedication eventually led to the success of the company.

In the year 2017, Jaynti Kanani launched Polygon along with Sandeep Naliwal and Anurag Arjun with the goal of addressing Ethereum’s issues with high fees and slow transactions.

Ahana Gautam was working at the renowned P&G company. Dissatisfied with her job, she returned to India to launch her own business. Today, her snack brand is valued at over Rs 100 crore.

Arjun Ahluwalia is a prominent and successful entrepreneur in the country. He kickstarted his journey as an entrepreneur when he moved back to India after working in America for several years. Currently, the rural fintech firm ‘Jai Kisan’ is valued at approximately Rs 2,000 crore.

Chandra Prakash Patel, a vegetable seller from Chhattisgarh is gaining recognition for his brilliant vegetable selling techniques to boost his sales. He has over 75 thousand followers on Instagram alone.

After failing in his first startup, Sachin Bainsala launched another startup called ‘Hamara Café’ to assist people in filling out forms. The project addresses the technical knowledge gap and other document-related challenges.

Madhu Prakash is defying conventional expectations at the age of 60. She is not only managing her business successfully, but her startup also provides employment to women between the age group of 50 to 70. She runs her business named ‘Phulo Phalo’ with her niece Sugandha.

Poonam Gupta who once struggled to find a job, runs an international business worth Rs 800 crore. The company operates in countries such as America, China, and India etc.

Rohan Murthy is the son of business tycoon Narayana Murthy. He had always dreamed of venturing into the world of business on his own, which prompted him to launch his own business. 

Narayana Murthy is a renowned name in the world of business. He took a loan of Rs 10,000 from his wife Sudha Murty. The foundation of the company was laid in his Pune apartment. In the year 1981, Narayana Murthy founded the company Infosys with his six friends.

Aarin Ratnesh Sorathiya launched ‘Chaiwale Ki Chaipatti’ in the year 2016 with a single product, and today the product line has expanded to include 50-60 varieties. Aarin’s company has a range of flavoured tea and coffee which not only boosts the sales but also provides customers with interesting choices.  

Bhavish Aggarwal is the owner of Ola company. Bhavish graduated with Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Mumbai. After graduation, Bhavish Aggarwal worked at Microsoft with a good package. An incident in 2010 prompted him to launch his own company of cab services. Today, the valuation of Ola is around $4.8 billion dollars.  

Rakesh Makhija, a successful businessman, has held various significant positions in top global companies. In the year 2019, he assumed the role of part-time non-executive chairman of Axis Bank. He has also worked for Tata Honeywell, SKF Group, Technip, and various other companies.

Shrikant Bolla was born with a visual impairment, and he faced several challenges in life. After not being able to secure admission at IITs, he aimed for USA’s MIT, and achieved success. In 2012, he launched Bollant Industries and today, the turnover of the company is in crores.
