Aman Gupta is the co-founder of renowned Indian company boAt. He is a 42-year-old entrepreneur with total assets valued at Rs 720 crore. In the year 2020, Aman Gupta was honoured with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. His brand, boAt, has a market cap of Rs 10,500 crore. 

Family

Aman Gupta has a strong social media presence. As a judge on Shark Tank India, he showcases a remarkable collection of cars including the BMW X Series and Mercedes. Like his success story as a businessman, Aman Gupta’s love story was also pretty dramatic. During a podcast episode, he revealed that he pursued his wife Priya Dagar in a manner similar to the iconic train chase scene from the film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.’ 

The two got married in 2008 and share a great bonding with each other. Priya Dagar is currently serving as a Senior Policy Leader at the Embassy of the Netherlands. Aman and Priya are parents to two daughters named, Ada and Miraya. 

Professional career

Media reports suggest that Aman Gupta launched five different ventures before boAt, but he could not achieve success with any of them. He embarked on his professional career with his father at the age of 23. After facing multiple failures, he gained success with the launch of boAt in 2016; at the time he was 36 years old.

Education

Aman Gupta earned his CA degree in the year 2002, after which he gained significant experience while working in various companies. Subsequently, he pursued an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from ISB. In 2016, Aman Gupta along with Sameer Mehta co-founded the company boAt. Despite facing numerous challenges over the years, the duo’s persistence and dedication eventually led to the success of the company.
