Kishore, a customer posted the photo of chocolate cake with the fly, bringing IKEA back in news for all the wrong reasons. IKEA was fined Rs 5,000 earlier by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for cleanliness issues. This inspection was conducted after a customer Tweeted a photo of a caterpillar inside the vegetable biriyani earlier.

Food safety officials from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation conducted a raid at IKEA store, Hyderabad. After inspection, the GHMC issued a notice and imposed a fine of Rs 11,500 on IKEA as it found that the rule of segregating waste was also not followed at the store.
