Some 15 years ago, Nand Kishore Verma had the opportunity of meeting Sunderlal Bahuguna, a renowned environmentalist and key figure in the Chipko movement, at a book fair in Lucknow. Inspired by him, he gave up his second means of income and gained knowledge about water and environmental protection. In 2021, he was honoured with the ‘National Water Hero’ award.

Vineeta Singh is the CEO and co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics. She completed her education from the prestigious IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad. Her total net worth is estimated to be around Rs 300 crore.

For the last decade, Dr Farooq Hossain has been offering free medical services to the residents of the Sundarban area of West Bengal. He and his team collect sample and unused medication from households and distribute them to those in need. Additionally, they have received donations of ECG, oxygen, sugar, and blood pressure monitoring machines, enabling them to provide healthcare services to the community.

Aamir Qutub faced financial difficulties while pursuing his MBA in Australia. To survive in a foreign land, he even worked as a sweeper and a newspaper distributor. Finally, Aamir got a job at a company where he successfully progressed to establish his own company. Today, Aamir’s company Entreprise Monkey has a turnover of Rs 10 crore.  

Dr. Kumar is a self-made millionaire with a tale that inspires all. He owns Ankita Group of companies that deal in international trading and manufacturing various products like Agro, Healthcare, and Grocery.
