Dilkhush Kumar: From driving rickshaws to hiring IIT graduates
After getting married, Dilkhush Kumar relocated to Delhi to seek employment. He drove rickshaws there but did not like the work and returned to his home. He acquired his driving skills by learning from his father. Dilkhush purchased a small car while working in Patna. He launched his cab service from that point onwards. Today, the company works with 250 cab drivers from across Bihar.

Dev Kumar Verma’s childhood was full of struggles and hardships. He gave tuition classes and worked as an LIC agent to support his higher studies. When he secured a government job, he decided to make a difference in the lives of children who were involved in coal picking, particularly in Dhanbad. Dev established his first Ekal School in Dhanbad and started giving free education. Currently, there are more than 50 Ekal Schools operating in various states.
