    Unemployment surges to 83% among youth of India: ILO-IHD Report 2024

    India Employment Report 2024 published by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Institute of Human Development (IHD) revealed that in 2022, 83% of Indian youth were unemployed. The unemployment rate saw a rise between 2000 and 2019; however, employment among youth declined globally during the Covid years.
