Indore’s Nikunj Sharma launched his tea business in Gorakhpur. Initially, he found it difficult to open a single outlet in the city but with the kindness of other people, he successfully launched his business. Today, Nikunj operates seven outlets in different cities and provides employment to people with disabilities.

After getting married, Dilkhush Kumar relocated to Delhi to seek employment. He drove rickshaws there but did not like the work and returned to his home. He acquired his driving skills by learning from his father. Dilkhush purchased a small car while working in Patna. He launched his cab service from that point onwards. Today, the company works with 250 cab drivers from across Bihar.

Agra’s Mrinal Agrawal has a background in mechanical engineering. Despite receiving job offers from abroad, he decided to support local farmers through various programmes. So far, he has provided employment to many villagers through his business of selling milk products and vegetables.

Gaurav Kaushal is a resident of Haryana. In the year 2012, Gaurav cleared the UPSC exams, secured employment in Indian Defence Estates Service with an All India Rank of 38^th. He quit from his service and launched mentorship programmes for IAS aspirants.

Pratapgarh’s Ranjana Singh maintains a positive mindset and does not let her illness come in the way of her dreams. She has not only overcome her own challenges but has also dedicated her life to helping other women gain independence in their lives. Through her organization, she has provided training to thousands of women.

Vandana works with a team of village women workers. She trains women to become self-reliant. So far, she has given employment to over 20,000 women.

Satyaprakash is an inspiration for the people who feel handicapped because of their disabilities. He is blind but owns a company with a turnover of Rs 3 lakh. He has successfully provided employment opportunities to farmers and village women.

India's labour force of more than 507 million people continues to face challenges in 2020 due to the pandemic, globalisation, large-scale unemployment, and crumbling infrastructure. The government must be proactive to provide employment opportunities for a strengthened workforce and support the nation’s economic growth.

The Indian economy is seeing a rapid shift towards automation and digitalization. Automation helped India to become one of the leading countries in the world in terms of technology and is expected to boost economic growth in the coming years.
