Earlier, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley had rubbished the concern raised by 108 economists about the reliability of data. Chartered accountants expose data hoax by award wapsi economists
131 chartered accountants from across the country, on Monday, debunked allegations made by a group of 108 economists and social scientists who say that the economic statistics of the country are in disarray. Allegations of political interference in data publication has been countered.
