The Central and State governments run several schemes for the benefit of the girl child. Some of these scheme include Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Beti Samriddhi Yojana, and Ladli Lakshmi Yojana etc.

The Ministry of women and child development is establishing OSCs for violence-affected women in all districts of the country
