Sunay Yadav, a student from Narayana Olympiad School in Gopalapuram, Chennai, became the state topper with an impressive 99.993 percentile in the first session of the JEE Main 2025 exam. Over 1.2 million students from across the country took part in the JEE Main Session 1 exam 

Sunay Yadav aspires to secure admission to IIT Bombay. For the past two years, he has been preparing for the JEE with immense hard work and dedication. His outstanding performance is a testament to the fact that with determination and effort, any challenge can be conquered.

According to a Times of India report, Sunay Yadav shared his experience of the JEE Main exam, mentioning that the Physics paper was moderate in difficulty, while the Maths questions were lengthy. He also noted that some Chemistry questions left him confused. Sunay expressed his intention to appear for the second session of JEE Main in hopes of improving his score.

Sharani Ponguru, Director of Narayana Group of Schools, stated that the overall results were satisfactory. She mentioned that this year’s paper was longer compared to last year, and students found the Physics paper particularly challenging. B Pawan Kumar, Deputy Director of FIITJEE Chennai, added that more than 10 students achieved a 99.9 percentile this year, with one student even scoring full marks in Chemistry.

Sunay Yadav’s remarkable performance is not only a reflection of his hard work and dedication, but also serves as an inspiration to other students. Despite facing challenges, success is achievable when efforts are focused in the right direction.
