Ghadi

Ghadi is a popular detergent brand in India that has a catchy jingle. Dayaldas Gyanchandani, the father of Murli Dhar and Bimal Gyanchandani launched the soap brand. Prior to this endeavour, soap was typically made using oil, but Dayaldas introduced the use of glycerine in soaps which revolutionised the market landscape.

Later in the year 1987, Murli Dhar and Bimal established the foundation of ‘Ghadi.’ It was initially named Shri Mahadev Soap Industry. The brothers delivered the products to the local shops themselves to sustain their families. Gradually, this soap brand gained significant popularity in the market, establishing the two brothers as the richest men in Uttar Pradesh.

Red Chief

RSPL Group further expanded its business by introducing a new line of leather shoes and men’s accessories. Red Chief is another popular brand under the RSPL operations. The brand is renowned for selling affordable and high-quality shoes. This business endeavour further helped the company to become a prominent enterprise in Kanpur.
