Lakhs of students appear for NEET exams every year and each one of them aspires to crack them to become a topper. Among all the aspirants, Tamil Nadu’s Prabhanjan J stood out with his extraordinary performance. With sheer hard work, he managed to get a perfect score and topped the exams with 720/720 marks. He also became the first student from Tamil Nadu to accomplish this feat. A student from Andhra Pradesh, Bora Varun Chakraborty also secured 99.99 percent marks and achieved AIR 1 along with Prabhanjan. 

Exam preparation

Prabhanjan shares that NCERT books for preparation of NEET UG exam are no less than Bible, Quran, and Bhagavad Gita. He considers it of utmost importance that students must first prepare from NCERT books. He attributes his success to the continuous practice of solving questions. He was consistent with his practice, and diligently solved all the NEET pattern question papers. 

According to the toppers, it is important to understand the syllabus and pattern of the exam thoroughly in order to excel in them, Prabhanjan emphasizes that appearing for several mock tests, give students the confidence to perform better. 

Prabhanjan’s background

Prabhanjan J is a resident of Villupuram, and both his parents work as teachers. His mother is a teacher of mathematics, and his father teaches history. He scored 463 out of 500 marks in CBSE class 12 board exams. During his higher secondary education, he resided in a hostel of Velammal Vidyalaya to devote all his time to studies. He utilized his time in the best way possible and cracked the NEET exams in his glorious attempt. 

Understanding the strong points

Prabhanjan received immense support from his family. His parents encouraged him to consistently perform better than the last time. He was aware of his strengths and weaknesses, and actively addressed them during his NEET exam preparation. He received assistance and support from his parents and teachers, creating an environment that contributed to achieving his goal.
