Rajasthan: This is an inspiring tale of a young girl from Rajasthan whose remarkable achievements serve as a symbol of women empowerment in rural Rajasthan. Kalpana Birda is a resident of Rinau village in Fatehpur Shekhawati, Rajasthan. 

With immense hard work and dedication, she secured three government jobs within a span of just six months. Initially, she landed a clerk position in the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam. Then, she secured a position as an Auditor and now she holds the position of Sub-Inspector in the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) department. 

Education and preparation

Kalpana is the eldest of three sisters. She earned her graduate degree from the renowned Banasthali Vidyapeeth University. Then, she pursued a BEd degree in Laxmangarh. During her college years, she prepared for government jobs. Kalpana’s father, Mahipal, works overseas, and her mother is a homemaker. After her recent success, her relatives and friends gathered at her home to extend their congratulations.

Kalpana’s key to success

Kalpana shares that initially, she attended a coaching centre in Delhi for receiving proper guidance regarding competitive examinations. Then, she transitioned to self-study at home. She highlights the importance of consistent revision and preparing concise notes. She was able to achieve success in these three competitive exams with her diligent approach to studies.
