Bhopal: Mohammad Kashif is a resident of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He hid his artistic talents due to people’s scorn. It was a secret part of his life until his paintings went viral, and the world appreciated his creative endeavours. He shares that during his college competition, he put his artwork on display, and to his surprise, people gathered around it and took pictures. The pictures were posted on social media and within 15 days, he received an invitation to represent India at World Art, Dubai. Mohammad Kashif holds five world records under his name. 

The inspiration to create

Participating in a painting competition in his grade 2 sparked Mohammad Kashif's interest in art. His success in the competition boosted his confidence and nurtured his passion for art. As a child, he frequently visited museums, exhibitions, and engaged in artistic activities. As he progressed, he began crafting art from recycled materials at home.

Reflecting on his journey, mechanical engineer, Mohammad Kashif mentioned that during his second year of college in 2018, he used to keep his artistic talents hidden because some people believed it was a waste of time with no prospects for success. However, he persevered and believed that success would eventually come his way in the field of art.

Waste to Best

Mohammad Kashif transforms waste items like coconut jute, date kernels, ash, and discarded cotton into exquisite decorative artifacts. His creations are so intricately crafted that they attract people from all corners of the world. He crafts realistic animal horns from discarded materials. His innovative work has made history by turning waste into unique forms of art.

One of his notable projects was the creation of an artwork for the Plastic Donation Center at Bhopal Boat Club, which quickly became a popular selfie spot. This artwork utilized a 1500 waste plastic items and earned recognition as the world's largest globe artwork, conveying a powerful message against the use of single-use plastics. The inauguration of this art piece was done by Bollywood actress, Bhumi Pednekar.

Making world records

Mohammad Kashif holds five records under his name for various accomplishments. The artwork he created at the Bhopal Boat Club has earned recognition in both the Asia Book of Records and the International Book of World Records. Furthermore, he holds a record in the India Book of Records for his multitasking skills as an artist. He was awarded the Rashtriya Ratan Award in Nagpur on 8 March 2020.

Moreover, Mohammad Kashif boasts over 100 other achievements to his name; he is included in the top 20 artists in India. His dedication and talent have certainly made a significant impact in the world of art and creativity.

Launching a startup

Mohammad Kashif has ventured into the world of entrepreneurship with his startup named ‘Artistic Engineering’. This innovative endeavour specializes in various aspects of creativity, including interior design, metal artistry, steel manufacturing, distinctive fountains, and automated gates. Through his engineering expertise, Kashif imparts a unique and artistic touch to each of these products. His exceptional creativity has garnered recognition and acclaim worldwide.

An extraordinary talent

Mohammad Kashif is undeniably a multi-talented individual who has left his mark in various domains. Kashif's curiosity and interest in robotics began with toys, which he disassembled to better understand them, and he received support from his parents in pursuing this hobby. His passion for robotics led him to compete in the International World Championship in Robotics.

He has also competed in national level competitions of cricket and football. His other hobbies include rifle shooting, and he has participated in numerous state-level shooting competitions. His multifaceted talents and achievements reflect his dedication and passion for a diverse range of interests.
