Nitin Bagate was born in a small village in Maharashtra, where he grew up in a financially struggling family. To support his household, Nitin sold vegetables while pursuing his studies. It was a common sight to see him selling vegetables outside the SP’s office. Despite the hardships, Nitin harboured big dreams and knew that the key to transforming his life lay in his hard work and dedication.

Despite growing up in poverty, Nitin remained committed to his education. After completing his early schooling in a government school, he faced challenges in pursuing higher education. His initial goal was to secure a job that would uplift his family's standard of living. After much thought, Nitin decided to prepare for the UPSC exam, setting his sights on a brighter future.

UPSC journey

Nitin faced many challenges while preparing for the UPSC exam due to a lack of resources. He couldn’t afford expensive coaching or books, so he studied with what little he had. Despite reaching the UPSC interview three times without success, he didn’t give up. In 2016, after much perseverance, Nitin Bagate finally cracked the UPSC exam and was selected for the IPS (Indian Police Service). It was a moment that felt like a dream come true for him.

Today, Nitin Bagate serves as a DSP in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Known for his honesty and dedication, his work ethic has made him an inspiration for the youth. Nitin's journey from hardship to success motivates young people to stay committed, work hard, and never give up on their dreams.
