Lucknow: After experiencing failures multiple times, anyone starts losing their spirits. It’s in human nature to feel depressed and lost. However, there are individuals that are made of such strong will power, that no obstacle in their way ever stops them from pursuing their dreams.

Abhishek Singh, a resident of Kushinagar faced failure in 23 competitive examinations for 9 consecutive years, and he finally managed to clear the exams for the position of a Revenue Accountant in his 24th attempt. 

Who is Abhishek Singh?

Abhishek Singh lives in Mangrua village of Motichak, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling from Mahatma Gandhi Inter College, Gorakhpur. He earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from HRIT, Ghaziabad in 2012. His father, Narayan Singh is a farmer, and his mother is a homemaker. 

Preparation for competitive exams

Abhishek Singh spent some years in Delhi regarding his preparation for the competitive exams with an aim to receive proper guidance. In the year 2014, he appeared for the UPPSC exams but could not clear them. In 2015, he made it through the prelims exams but failed to pass the mains exam. He shares that he had appeared for UPPSC exams a total of nine times. 

Similarly, he once made it to the mains exam of UPSC, pre-exam of Rajasthan PCS, and other sub-inspector exams. However, he could never make it through the last stages. Despite all the failed attempts, he refused to give up and achieved success in his 24th attempt. He received appointment as a Revenue Accountant after passing the UPPSC exam. 

Abhishek’s undying spirit

Abhishek Singh’s mother is a heart patient. She has been a constant source of inspiration for him. His mother witnessed the immense hard work he put in his studies over the course of 9 years. She supported him through his failures and kept him motivated to pursue bigger dreams. Abhishek further emphasizes the importance of surrounding oneself with a group of good friends. His friends always encouraged and pushed him to work harder to accomplish his dreams.
