The premium natural diamond jewellery company, known for its certified earth-mined diamond collections, has witnessed stronger liquidity, improved inventory efficiency, and accelerated revenue generation following the collaboration.
Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], May 18: Ahmedabad-based Aurita Natural Diamonds has reported a major business transformation after collaborating with Dr. Vivek Bindra and Bada Business Private Limited, achieving significant operational and financial improvements through structured inventory management and backend optimization.
The premium natural diamond jewellery company, known for its certified earth-mined diamond collections, has witnessed stronger liquidity, improved inventory efficiency, and accelerated revenue generation following the collaboration.
Aurita Natural Diamonds operates across retail and wholesale markets and offers a broad portfolio of gold and rose gold jewellery designs for men and women. While the brand had built a strong reputation in Gujarat’s jewellery market, the business was facing operational challenges commonly associated with inventory-heavy industries.
Before the collaboration, a considerable portion of the company’s capital remained tied up in inventory with limited visibility into stock performance. The business lacked clear categorization of fast-moving and slow-moving products, leading to inefficient allocation of funds and reduced cash flow flexibility.
One of the biggest issues identified during the business assessment was the accumulation of non-performing stock. Large volumes of jewellery inventory had remained stagnant over extended periods, affecting working capital efficiency and reducing overall inventory productivity.
The company also faced low inventory turnover, which slowed revenue cycles and restricted liquidity. With cash heavily blocked in inventory, Aurita Natural Diamonds was considering external borrowing to support expansion plans, including the opening of a new store.
Following the collaboration with Dr. Vivek Bindra and Bada Business Private Limited, a detailed operational diagnosis was initiated through deep inventory analysis and data-backed SKU-level evaluation. Consultants associated with the project conducted a comprehensive review of stock movement patterns across the business.
The analysis revealed that nearly 25 percent of the company’s inventory qualified as dead stock. This became a defining insight for the business and laid the foundation for a structured inventory transformation strategy.
Post-identification, inventory was segmented into fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead categories. This provided management with a clear understanding of product performance and enabled focused decision-making around liquidation, procurement planning, and stock allocation.
The company then adopted an aggressive inventory rotation strategy aimed at reducing blocked capital and accelerating stock movement. High-demand designs were prioritized, while non-moving inventory was systematically liquidated to improve cash conversion cycles.
As a result, Aurita Natural Diamonds achieved a four-times annual inventory turnover cycle, significantly enhancing liquidity and revenue efficiency. Faster stock rotation enabled the business to recycle working capital more effectively and improve operational stability.
The improved inventory movement also contributed to an estimated ₹10 crore in additional revenue generation through better stock utilization and increased sales efficiency.
Industry experts believe that inventory productivity is becoming increasingly important in the jewellery industry, where profitability is directly linked to how efficiently businesses manage large stock holdings. Aurita Natural Diamonds’ transformation reflects a growing trend toward data-led inventory optimization in traditional retail sectors.
Another key outcome of the collaboration was the company’s ability to unlock internal liquidity from its existing operations.
By improving stock movement and converting stagnant inventory into active cash flow, the business generated approximately ₹2.5 crore internally.
This internally generated capital was utilized to support expansion activities, including the setup of a new store, without depending on external debt financing. The move strengthened the company’s financial position and reduced leverage-related risks.
In addition to operational restructuring, the company implemented structured inventory planning systems and continuous stock monitoring mechanisms to maintain long-term inventory health and purchasing discipline.
Commenting on the transformation, founder Mr. Shrey Contractor said, “The biggest shift for us was understanding how much capital was silently blocked inside inventory. With the support and guidance from Dr. Vivek Bindra and Bada Business, we were able to identify inefficiencies, improve inventory rotation, and create stronger cash flow within the business. This has completely changed the way we approach growth and expansion.”
Aurita Natural Diamonds now projects topline growth of more than 250 percent over the next two years, driven by improved operational systems, efficient inventory management, and stronger internal cash generation.
The company’s growth journey highlights how strategic consulting and process-driven execution can unlock scalability and sustainable profitability in inventory-intensive industries like jewellery retail.
