Banasthali, Rajasthan – The second day of the much-awaited Banasthali Business Conference (BBC) witnessed a grand award ceremony that celebrated business, entrepreneurship and women empowerment. The event began with the arrival of the chief guest, Shri Hemant Karaulia, General Manager of State Bank of India, Jaipur, and the ceremony commenced with Shri Ganesh Vandana followed by applause by over 300 participants who appreciated the presence of the chief guest.  
 
In his address to the participants, Shri Karaulia emphasized the importance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and women entrepreneurship, citing the example of Arundhati Bhattacharya, first woman Chairman of State Bank of India. He said women in the workforce are increasing, when he joined SBI, there were only 3 women. Now the percentage of women in SBI increased from 3 women to 20 percent of the whole workforce and he wishes to make it 50 percent. He also highlighted Banasthali's contribution to women empowerment and how girls are now excelling in various fields such as the army, pilots, and the National Defence Academy. He praised SBI's role in providing loans for housing and education and thanked late Pt. Hiralal Shastri Ji, the founder of Banasthali, for establishing this institution for women. 
 
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Ina Shastri also addressed the participants and mentioned the journey of Banasthali in preparing women leaders with excellence, Prof. Harsh Purohit, the Dean of FMS WISDOM and Law was also present at the event. The ceremony featured a mesmerizing dance performance on Nari Shakti and singing performance that thoroughly entertained the students. 
 
The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of the best delegates, high commendation, honorable mention, special mention, and verbal mention from different committees. The chief guest and other dignitaries felicitated the winners and key student team members in the ceremony. 
 
The chief moderator, Annanya V Joshi, expressed her gratitude towards the chief guest, VC and other faculty members for their support and presence. She also thanked the associate sponsors Mountmerry, Phototainment, Power to Women, and Sociopillar for their contributions to the event's success.
