Theni: Pandiyaraj, 29, a resident of Mullaiyampatti near Andipatti in Theni district of Tamil Nadu, was engaged to a minor who was studying in 12th standard. The girl's parents forced her to get engaged to Pandiyaraj on June 9. The girl filed a complaint over the phone with the child helpline. In her complaint, she said she was being sexually harassed by Pandiyaraj. Based on her complaint, the Rajdhani police have filed a case and arrested Pandiyaraj. They are questioning the girl's mother as well. The search for the girl's father is on, as he is absconding.
