Kollam: A group thrashed a Class 12 student Ranjith in Arinalloor, Kerala, on February 16 for allegedly attacking a young girl. He was admitted to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries on March 1.
Now, Ranjith’s parents have alleged that the police are deliberately not arresting CPM Arinalloor branch secretary Sarasan Pillai who was involved in attacking their son.
Meanwhile, the local CPM leadership said that Pillai was targeted because of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
