The deployment of robotics has grown dramatically in the food service business. Restaurants and cafes around the world are currently utilizing robotics in a variety of restaurant activities, including serving, busing, and food preparation.

A video went viral online showcasing a humanoid robot waitress serving food to guests at a Chinese restaurant. However, if you look closely, you'll discover it's a real woman, not a robot. Nonetheless, the video has caused confusion on the internet.

The video quickly drew the interest of netizens, earning significant plaudits for its creative approach to customer care. The video posted by @balakrishnanrbk was shot at Chongqing Hotpot Restaurant. This robot is the true star of the show. She's clothed like a normal human, with wavy long hair that almost appears real.

In the clip, the woman impersonates a robot and delivers meals to guests using robotic-like movements. According to the video's commentary, she has perfected robotic gestures and even trained her tone to sound like an AI. Notably, the woman is the proprietor of Chongqing Hotpot Restaurant and a professional dancer.

The video has elicited a flood of favorable feedback online, with viewers complimenting the restaurant owner's originality and skillful execution. Many have praised the proprietors' ability to combine technology with traditional service, resulting in an outstanding dining experience for customers.

While some praised the innovative notion as interesting, others found it unsettling. One person commented on the video, ''What a cute robot.'' Another giggled, ''So if you try to go without paying, she will trail you like an inspector device."

Another user commented, "I thought she was breakdancing while serving.".
