Every day numerous viral posts float on the internet, sometimes brightening your day with wholesomeness or positivity, while other times, they simply ruin your mood.

One such mood-spoiling and aggravating post was made by a user on X (formerly Twitter), Garga Chatterjee. She posted a picture inside the metro with a gutka (chewing tobacco) stain on the wall. In the post, she wrote, "Gutkhafication of Metro. Guess the state of origin of this criminal."

The post currently has 536.3K views and 3.6 likes and hundreds of people have commented on the post expressing their thoughts on the situation.

One user talked about fining the gutka company, and wrote, "Government should start to fine Gutka companies for this crime! Actually responsibility and civic sense begins from there."

"Once i was traveling in kerala govt bus. there are 3-4 northies chewing gutka. Conductor and some mallu passengers told them to get off bus or you have to pay 500rs if you spit it out while bus is running . poor guys sat for 30 minutes more in bus with mouthful of gutka," said another.

An X user also suggested fining and punishing people for these activities. The comment states, "Few days back, saw one guy spitting on the floor inside CSMT station without any hesitation....asked him if he considered station floor as open gutter.. clean up marshals should fine such people 1000 or even 2000 so it will cost them very dearly and won't commit again.. @mybmc."
