What is oil gritting?

Oil gritting is a skincare technique which involves rubbing oil on the skin for 15 minutes. This is done to clean the pores and get rid of blackheads.

It helps remove blackheads and clean the pores without harsh chemicals and cleansers. It’s a good option for people with dry and sensitive skin.

Even though it’s not scientifically proven, many believe it can clear skin. Jojoba oil, sunflower, and mineral oil are generally recommended as they don’t clog pores.

Jojoba oil

It is known for its similarities to the natural oil present in the skin, it can be great for dissolving dirt and excess oil from the skin.
