Sri Lanka: Army unveils Angampora training centre near Kilinochchi
This training centre would help the Army personnel to understand and know more about the Angampora, a traditional wrestling form to keep themselves fit.
Kilinochchi (Sri Lanka): The Sri Lankan Army on Friday (July 26) established a state-of-the-art ‘Angampora’, a traditional wrestling training centre adjacent to the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN).
According to major general Vinjitha Ravipriya, commander, security forces- Kilinochchi, this training centre would serve as a regular training centre for all aspirants, who are keen on spending a day with the Angampora warriors and get familiarised with their daily training.
