Kalaripayattu warrior to be 1st Indian character in Japanese Manga comics

The cosplay was organised with the help of Japanese consul general in Bengaluru Takayuki Kitagawa to promote Japanese pop culture in the country, along with tourism, and to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Kerala’s Kalaripayattu warrior Ravi will be the first Indian character in a Japanese Manga comic.
