Supreme Court stays Allahabad court order on Chinmayanand’s plea
The Supreme Court granted an interim stay on Allahabad high court order on former BJP member Chinmayanand, allowing him to access certified copy of the rape accuser’s statements. On September 21, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) had arrested Chinmayanand and sent him to jail. The law student was also booked on alleged charges of extortion against Chinmayanand.
