Nimal Raghavan has worked on water conservation projects across 10 Indian states, including 21 districts of Tamil Nadu. Remarkably, his efforts have also reached countries like Africa and Sri Lanka. Nimal also established a startup called the ‘Mega Foundations,’ dedicated to promoting organic farming and preserving indigenous seeds.

The initiative ‘Jal Jeevan Mission: Har Ghar Jal’ was launched on 15 August 2019. The project achieved a significant feat on 7 March 2024, with tap water reaching 75 percent of households across the country.

ISRO has started working on the Bharatiya Antariksha Station, which is India's own space station. Prime Minister has set an ambitious goal of having an active space station by 2035. ISRO Chief S. Somanath has indicated the launch of the first module of the space station in the upcoming years.

Dr Akshata Krishnamurthy is a part of the NASA mission that is working to obtain samples from Mars. She holds a PhD degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics. She is not only an accomplished scientist but is also the first Indian woman to operate a rover on Mars.
