    "One Nation One Ration Card" To Be Implemented Nationwide From Next Year

    Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has said that from June 1 2020, the 'One Nation, One Ration Card' scheme will be implemented nationwide. 
    During the Question Hour in Lok Sabha on 3rd December Paswan gave this information. He said that at present the facility of Point of Sale POS machines for ration cards has been started in 14 states. It will be started in other states soon. This would be made available after biometric/Aadhaar authentication on ePoS (electronic Point of Sale) devices.
