There are many chai enthusiasts in India, and it's safe to say that we have quite high standards for tea. Taking our love of chai tapri to a whole new level, a number of businesspeople started ventures that went on to become national successes and even established chains abroad.
 

As per the Hurun India Philanthropy List 2023, the founder of HCL, Shiv Nadar is India’s most generous donor in terms of philanthropy. In 2022-23 financial year, he donated Rs 2042 crore to charities. Azim Premji, the former chairman of the board of directors of the company Wipro, donated Rs 1774 crore in the financial year 2022-23.

Mukesh Ambani is the richest person in India with his massive net worth of Rs 7,59,057 crore as of 23 October 2023. A distant relative of Mukesh Ambani, Arvind Poddar, is also counted among one of the richest businesspeople of India.

Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro has cut visa requirements from many developed countries and India is one among them. Earlier this year, the Brazilian government ended visa requirements for tourists and businesspeople from the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.
